Absentee Bloggism

Sometimes life takes everything you wanted to accomplish and throws it out the window. That is how I've felt for the last week or so.

December is always a very busy month for me. Before the new year begins, I will have celebrated 6 birthdays, 3 separate Christmases, held 2 parties for my home-based business, attended 2 baby showers, gotten my dog's license and tags renewed, cooked at least one fancy dinner, and bought a partridge in a pear tree.

We also have most of the repairs finished on my car. I just couldn't bear to part with it. There's still cosmetic work needed but she's pulling through like a champ. Many thanks are due to my future Brother-in-Law.

So, that's it. That's really all this post is about. To tell you that I miss you all so very much but I haven't stopped reading your blogs. I've just gone to "blog stalking" as I'm catching them all through the Google Reader Droid App.

Before I part, I want to say "Congratulations!" to Sparkle Q again and again, to Paige, I am still holding you close in my heart and pray for your heart and soul to heal every night, and to BB - Please don't give up! We all believe in magic otherwise we wouldn't be here and "GROW baby GROW!". Jendo, I'm so glad to hear that your case is mild - fingers crossed for August! Be safe and be blessed.

To all the ladies who have yet to get their positive results, I'm rooting for you whether it be from a car (on yet another road trip), in an airport, or an obligatory holiday event. See ya on the stalk-y side!

  1. I completely empathize with you! Between preparing for the deployment, wrapping things up at work, wrapping and mailing Christmas presents (and the lines at the Post Office!), visiting a college friend in San Francisco (and meeting her 1 year old son), it's been hectic. But, at least I only have one Christmas to celebrate and no parties to worry about.

I hope your car is repaired soon!

  2. You are so sweet! Thank you Jen! I found my optimism again. I'm tired reading about your December. Hope you get some down-time over the holidays!
