My sister announced her pregnancy today.
I know I owe you all an explanation regarding where I've been, why I haven't posted or commented, and what I've been up to. All I can say is that I needed a break.
I have read all of your posts and I'm happy for those of you in celebration and sad with you who are still struggling.
The reality of my situation is that I'm not pregnant and no longer on the path.
But my sister is pregnant. And engaged. He's an asshole that doesn't deserve her and put his hands on her during 4th of July weekend.
My sister is pregnant.
And I'm not happy for her.

ReplyDeleteI’m so sorry, hun. I understand how it feels to watch your sister carry on dreams of mommyhood with a jerk. I know the feeling of wondering why not me. It hurts like hell. The only comfort that I can offer is that you are not alone (which I know isn’t really comfort at all, but sometimes it does help to know). Keep your heart hopeful. And be there for your sis. I know it hurts. I know. But if she is with a guy who is an ass....she is really going to be needing her sis.
